A set of independent researchers published a no-Boeing account of the Pentagon event, citing selected witnesses and façade photos.

CLAIM: AA77 did not hit the Pentagon; a missile or other object did, or the aircraft overflew.

This is one of the most heavily labelled conspiracy claims in the set. It is ingested. It is contradicted by NTSB path, ASCE interior damage, DNA identification of passengers, and light-pole strikes (EVD-102, 116, 117).

Witnesses who said they did not see a 757 are real people; human perception of a ~500-knot aircraft at ground level is a known failure mode.
