Interpretation

The existence of a melt is better supported than its identification as structural steel or as thermite product.

OBSERVATION: Multiple responders described molten metal. Photographs show yellow-orange flow.

Colour temperature and chemistry are the fight: molten steel vs aluminium vs eutectic (see also FEMA Appendix C, EVD-111).

This is a real physical question, not an internet invention. It is also not, by itself, a fingerprint of nanothermite.
