Observation

The Commission states AA77 struck the Pentagon at 09:37:46.

Interpretation

Official identification of the aircraft. Competing CIT-style claims are stored as EVD-148, not silently discarded.

Source text

OBSERVATION: The Commission records AA77, a Boeing 757 from Dulles, striking the Pentagon at 09:37:46. NTSB path, Dulles tower visual, light-pole strikes, and ASCE damage mapping are independent supporting streams (EVD-116, EVD-117).

A competing no-Boeing claim exists (EVD-148). It is on the board; it is not the official finding.
