Observation

FDNY published daily Incident Action Plans for Ground Zero rescue and recovery from at least 21 September 2001 through early 2002, covering hazards, void searches, and DDC work in the pit. A 911DA collection hosts them.

Interpretation

Operational paperwork of the recovery. Not a collapse-initiation analysis. Useful as contemporaneous site conditions.

OBSERVATION (911DA collection 11, New York City Fire Department Incident Action Plans). The IAPs are described as the only daily documents of their kind for WTC rescue and recovery. Sample titles on the collection page: 9/21/01; 9/23–24; 9/25–26; 9/27–28; 9/30–10/1; multiple October 2001 days; 1/14–17/02.

Individual PDF page bodies were not OCR'd at this ingest. The collection exists; day-to-day pit operations are a documented genre. This is a catalogue of a primary series, not a substitute for the PDFs.

Hypothesis linkage

  • H003neutralseeded
