Observation
A 12 September 2001 email claims a dealing-room desk on the 50th floor of 1 WTC was being stood up over Labor Day 2001, and that some co-workers may have been in the building.
Interpretation
If credited, occupancy and fit-out on high floors of WTC 1 continued into September 2001. It does not identify a collapse mechanism.

OBSERVATION (911DA item 36740, email350.xml). Date: Wed Sep 12, 2001 12:23 pm. Subject: Re: [ham-net] Ho? News? Please Check In. Signed Ho. The opening line is a slur directed at the attackers; it is not an observation of 11 September and is not reproduced here as evidence of anything except that contemporaneous mail mixed grief, relief, and ethnic abuse. Load-bearing content: brother left a WTC job earlier in 2001; mother retired June; father retired the previous month. Co-workers 'may have taken a direct hit.' Writer had been preparing a move into the WTC for six months; over Labor Day weekend 'we put half of em in there'; writer had a permanent ID and a desk in a dealing room on the 50th floor of 1 WTC, scheduled to start 'before October'. Unverified identity. Occupational geography is a claim, not a badge check.
