OBSERVATION: Collection description, retrieved 3 Sep 2026: the Stories collection is 'the bulk of the archive, representing the reactions and experiences of thousands of individuals beginning in 2002.' Sample API items carry Date Entered of 5–18 Sep 2002 (anniversary window) and later (2003, 2006). Item titles in Omeka are file stubs (story6712.xml). Narrative text lives in the 911DA Story element.

INTERPRETATION: A 2002 recollection is not a 2001 instrument. Contemporaneity is low relative to same-day emails in the same archive.
