Honegger compiles Pentagon witnesses who used bomb/cordite language, cites stopped clocks around 9:31–9:32, and treats the FBI code name PENTTBOM as evidence of a bombing investigation.
Interpretation
Witness explosion-language and a code-name suffix are not a chemical identification of charges. H014 stays open and currently weakly supported relative to NTSB/ASCE.

Retrieved 2026-09-02. Named witnesses (Gallop, McKeown, Birdwell, Morin, Shelton cordite, etc.) are real people. Clock-stop and cordite-smell are observations of testimony. Explosives identification, PENTTBOM etymology, and 'no plane' are interpretations. NTSB path, ASCE interior mapping, and passenger DNA (EVD-116/117) remain the principal contradicts. In-cluster Wyndham/Legge-Stutt (EVD-222/223) also contradict a no-757 reading.
